Expectations are specific. If you don’t get what you expect, you will be disappointed, hurt… Expectations are well defined, specific.
I expect to get married on…with the man named _____

Hope is not specific. It is an outlook on life of looking forward to good things, to God’s best things and plans.
Hope is choosing to believe that God is in control… hope is letting go and letting God.
Hope is often the result of faith!

For instance, we all hope to get married someday…
But when you expect, you decide and specify kung kelan, saan, sino… at kung hindi ito mangyayari exactly how we planned, then we will become disappointed…

One of the hardest things to do in life is to lift yourself out of your current situations and step up to the level of life you desire (ur own –personal desires than God’s call).
Sabi nga nila… people expect the worst and hope for the best.
But as Christians, we should be more in Hope than in Expectations…
