Ang Buhay Ayon sa Unang Kapitolo

Malvin ‘Ben’ Mamisao

“life is like water –it can be pure or puede mo rin lagyan ng color, puede mabago ang shape depende sa lalagyan”

Ildefonso ‘Fonzy’ Garcia

“ang buhay ay parang pasaway – ginagawa natin ang gusto natin pero dapat susunod pa rin tayo sa anumang tama para sa atin”

Bernadette ‘Odette’ Aquino

“life is an opportunity – chances are given to change and improve yourself – gradually, little by little”

Magdalena ‘Mags’ Villanueva

“life is ups and downscycle ang buhay”

Maricor “Cor” Abarca

“life is an adventure – there’s so much ahead for us, Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.”

Charmaine ‘Charms’ Camposano

“Life is like an automatic wrist watch – it won’t work unless you wear it, parang ang buhay, it won’t work kung wala si Lord sa buhay mo. Every moment counts. That's why we need to make the most of every minute of every day.”

Hildagarde ‘Hilda’ Mangalindan

“Life is like a pen – hindi magwowork unless may nagpapagalaw”

Eden ‘Den’ Lara

“Life is like a book – maraming chapters, at sa bawat chapter may iba’t ibang characters and story, minsan exciting, minsan din boring. Pero what ever kind of chapter would that be, you still have to read it to understand the story and as one chapter ends, another one begins. Parang buhay, you have to live your life for you to value your own story.

Marilyn ‘Lyn’ Junio

“Life is an abstract – our lives may not be understood by other people, ikaw lang ang puedeng maka-explain ng life mo. Like an abstract painting - only the painter can explain the meaning of the painting pero un audience hindi nila masyadong magegets kung ano un”

Anthony ‘Ton’ Serrano

“Life is a mission and character to portray… life is a mission to search for new ground on which to grow, to find out God’s mission in our lives. And once you found it, you have to portray your mission. Life is also a lesson. The older you get, the wiser you become.”

Ako

“Life is like a fishing rod – the ‘pa-in' (bait) you put to the tip of the rod, represents God. Whenever you go fishing, even to the ocean na marami ang big fish, if you don’t put the ‘pa-in’ you wont be able to get the fish. The ‘pa-in’ represents God…you will never know your purpose unless you have God. Even if you have all luxurious things and the richest man in your life, if you don’t have God --- life is meaningless and useless.”

After few ups and downs of the rod, sa wakas nakabingwit sya ng isang malaking isda. After one hour, marami na syang nahuling isda so he took the opportunity to rest, he drank a glass of water and grabbed a copy of book. The book’s cover is an abstract painted by the author himself. He was so fascinated by the story and how the characters portrayed their missions. So he took his pen from his bag and underlined the lines that struck him. Then after an hour, he decided to go home. =)

Life is like a tree (my orig answer to the question...)

There should be a root to make it stand – the root represents God. Our lives should have God as our foundation.

Life is like a pencil by Paulo Coelho:

‘First quality: you are capable of great things, but you must never forget that there is a hand guiding your steps. We call that hand God, and He always guides us according to His will.’

‘Second quality: now and then, I have to stop writing and use a sharpener. That makes the pencil suffer a little, but afterwards, he’s much sharper. So you, too, must learn to bear certain pains and sorrows, because they will make you a better person.

‘Third quality: the pencil always allows us to use an eraser to rub out any mistakes. This means that correcting something we did is not necessarily a bad thing; it helps to keep us on the road to justice.’

‘Fourth quality: what really matters in a pencil is not its wooden exterior, but the graphite inside. So always pay attention to what is happening inside you.’

‘Finally, the pencil’s fifth quality: it always leaves a mark. in just the same way, you should know that everything you do in life will leave a mark, so try to be conscious of that in your every action’

Life is like the song ‘He’s Changing Me’

He's changing me, my precious Saviour
I'm not the same person that I used to be.
Sometimes it's a slow going,
But there's a knowing,
That someday, perfect I will be... (1, 2, 3, 4)

Little by little bit everyday,
Little by little bit every way,
My Jesus is changing me (Oh yes, he's changing me).
Since I made that turnabout face,
I've been living in His grace,
My Jesus is changing me.

Yan ang buhay ng tao, you can see and describe it in so many ways…but we are all connected at may kanya-kanyang purpose…
I’m praising God for the blessings of friends and service…
Love ko kayo!
