akala ninyo kayo lang

While having lunch yesterday, I noticed na iba na ang quality ng rice na kinakain namin. Tumaas na talaga ang presyo ng bigas…ramdam ko na… (ang tagal ko kasing in denial eh!)

I went to Carrefour (MOE) last Wednesday and was supposed to buy 10 kilos of rice. Compare to the price weeks ago it has increased by 20dhs (Php220). I thought that Dubai will be saved from a looming rice shortage and radical raise in the price of the commodity --- hindi pala!

Just imagine ang bayan kong pilipinas, before we were the one exporting rice…now we needed to import more than 2 million metric tons of rice from Vietnam and there were frantic call to preserve rice. Duh!? There is a long queue para sa NFA rice (cheapest rice) and putting indelible ink on the finger to make sure they will not be in the line twice. And eto pa… India has banned rice exports while China and Vietnam have reduced export volumes. What the ....

Indeed, this is a very bad news. Hay…
