Funny Side (stories) of G

Sis G and the G (Guitar)

Sis C, H, G and Bro A were practicing the song ‘Let the Fire Fall’ before their household prayer meeting started.

Sis C was playing the guitar…

while Sis G and Bro A were singing…

Bro A moved backward while singing, and eventually turned his back…

After 10 seconds he came back and with conviction he said to Sis C … ‘Wala ka sa tono!’

Sis C was surprised --- looking at her guitar and said, ‘wala ba sa tono ang gitara’

Sis G knew what Bro A meant…and she said ‘Ako iyun…’ (umamin naman pala eh!)

And it’s not the guitar --- its Sis G’s voice ang wala sa tono!

Bro A kept on apologizing… siya ang nahiya hindi si Sis G…

Waaaa!!!

You're the Only One

It was Saturday night when all chapter leaders were gathered in Tito H’s house.

After dinner, Bro A (same bro in Sis G and the G) took the guitar and played the song ‘You are my Disciples’.

While all leaders and two kids: T and J were singing.

The two kids enjoyed singing, though they don’t memorize the lyrics, nakakasabay pa rin naman lalo na sa chorus.

So the leaders decided to stop singing in the chorus and let the kids sang.

When the song finished, they clapped their hands to show appreciation to the kids.

But Kid T said, ‘isa pa, un You’re the Only One naman’

All leaders were confused. You will see on their faces that they do not know the song.

Bro A said, ‘anong song un?’

Kid T (with conviction) said, ‘Hindi mo alam un…?’ and he sang ‘One way, Jesus, You’re the only one that I could live for…’

Waaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

Sis L and Junior Adventure (part 1)

This incident (funny one) happened in September 2007… group of friends went to Karama (behind the Avenue bldg) for a birthday party.

There were 5 people inside Junior (the car’s name) … they were late for the party! And all were craving!

But there was no parking space available…

While they were driving around the area, Sis L advised Sis G (the driver) to park the car on the sandy empty lot.

But Sis G refused.

Sis L was so sure, she even said ‘ano ka ba? Diyan ka na magpark, diyan din kami nag-park ni Sis K a week ago, so puede dyan!’

Sis G said, ‘eh bakit walang nagpapark?’

Sis L with conviction said, ‘puede dyan maniwala ka sa akin’

For the third time they passed along the empty lot, Sis G gave up and obeyed Sis L.

And they went to the birthday party and enjoyed their moments together.

After few hours, they went back to the car park…and found a lot of cars in the sandy empty lot.

To their surprise, they found illegal parking ticket on the car’s wiper! Waaaaaa!!! 200dhs (2000Php) din un…

And worst, all vehicles that (obviously) followed them…have their parking tickets toooooo…(nandamay pa!)

Sis L and Junior Adventure (part 2)

One Thursday evening, Sis G, G2, S, J and C went to Hor Al Anz for a baptismal party… again Sis G was driving Junior, but now with different passengers.

As you all know, it’s hard to find a parking space in the area.

After two rounds, Sis G decided to park her car in front of the house of Sis L…

But there were barriers, so Sis G2 volunteered to remove the barriers (wow! Bait!)

Sis G really had a bad time in parallel parking, so the car was parked in a not-so-straight-parking-way! Pero pasok pa rin naman sa linya…

Sis G called Sis L to inform her that she parked her car in front of their house…

So, Sis L informed Kuya V that Sis G’s car is parked on his parking space --- what sis L forgot was to give Sis G’s car details (like colour and plate number)…

…they enjoyed the party…

…and after few hours, its time to go home.

While walking towards Sis L’s house, Sis G took her mobile and saw that there were two missed calls from unknown number, but she disregarded it (what’s new!?)…

And on their way, they saw Bro V and Sis J2 (GG of Bro V) who was inside their car at the other side of the road…

Bro V said, ‘tumawag na kami ng police, akala namin yung isa un car mo, pinapulis ka na namin’

Waaaaa!!!

Again!? What is this!?

And yes, it was the police who called Sis G!
