Team Africa: 4th Day

October 11, 4th day

Team Africa was divided into two:

Coast Team

(Bro Vergel, Bro Nonon, Bro Rolly, Sis Chay, Sis Mel, Sis Cheche, Sis Jeanette, Sis Rot, Sis Marie, and myself)

Plus Full Time Missionaries: Kuya Caloy and Ate Wendy

Coast Bus left at 1030am

- while waiting for the Air ConTROLLED by bus -

- the sunglasses, the mango juice (in a bottle) and the tickets -

- the bus and the chicken -

- our way to Voi, Kenya -

Arrived in Voi, Kenya at 4pm

- presenting: the Tuktuk! -

- Uncle Frank and our first worship in Voi -

- CLP Orientation night at Coast Institute of Technology (by Manu) -

- presenting: the 'Ugali' - like puto but without taste -

We met our hosts: Uncle Frank and Aunt Ermita. Slept for almost 3 hours…

Nairobi Team

Plus Full Time Missionaries: Kuya Aids, Ate An and Ate Sky

Went to West Area for the Parish presentation, met SFC at the Catholic University of East Africa (CUEA), went to Resurrection Gardens and Prayer Labyrinth

Firsts

** first time to play 'base' by Rolly (na-slow ako...promise!)
** first time to meet Tito Sly and his family
** first time to meet Emmanuel Muinde Mutua - LXS 2007
** first time to ride a TukTuk (tricycle pero nasa harap ang driver)

** first time to eat Ugali!
