In October of 2007, He told me to take nothing for my journey. But I was stubborn, impatient and conceited. I began a long combat against what was obviously a pressing call from Him to serve and follow Him through Singles for Christ.
I had measured my doubts, fears and attachments, and yet at the end of the discernment, I still let those worries and questions hinder me from a joyful mission.
Today, He is asking me to wait: for a decision upon which I do not desire to hinge my future. Who likes waiting? Who likes submitting? And yet into these two boiling situations I am dipped and soaked so that when the right time comes, I would be ready for the purpose that God has for me.
