on fear
Beyond the stress and the responsibilities, comes the fear: Fear of losing your love ones, fear of failing, fear of others judging you, fear of not measuring up to God, fear of God rejecting you, fear of having your world come crashing down...
Let me start by saying God loves you, unconditionally and forever. There is NOTHING you can ever do that will change how much He loves you. You can't make Him love you less by doing things that you think would grieve His heart, you can't make him love you more by being "perfect". He loves you. He wants to talk to you, to listen to you and to encourage you, JUST THE WAY YOU ARE!! If there are areas of your life that need to be healed, changed, rearranged, He will do it WITH you in His time. I mess up every day, sometimes in MAJOR ways that would shock many people. But I know that God loves me every minute of every day.
Secondly, God knows you are afraid and hurting and feeling very, very alone. He is there to hold you when you cry, to catch you when you fall, to pick you up when you can't carry on. He is there for you no matter what, and if you will keep praying, keep asking, keep reaching out, He will show you the way.
