#iG29RoadtoEternity - Thank you Blog

Neo and I received our official wedding raw photos and we thought it would be nice to take this blog post as an opportunity to share some of our great pictures while also thanking so many people.

Our wedding was a heartfelt one, reflective of our personalities. It was an opportunity to glorify God and to bless our guests with our love and compassion. It was serene and solemn, but not without laughs, tears of joy and cute little moments.

All in all, we wanted to highlight LOVE, love that waits and love that shines.

We’ll start with a huge thank you to God Almighty for an answered prayer. Marriage is a gift – an amazing blessing from above. Thank God for giving us the power to love well, for the countless perfect moments, for the gift of relationship, family, good health and financial blessings.

Thank God for every imperfection, every personality quirk. For in every blemish He has shown His strength and He keeps us together. We thank God for the huge grace to change our heart somehow, to ‘let go and let God’ (especially both Neo and I were hands-on during the wedding preps, so we know when something was like…duh?!).

Next, thank you to our video graphers and photographers, Exige Weddings (of Niceprint Photography), for the amazing job they did capturing the sights and sounds on our special day. You can watch our 4-minute preview film here

Their package includes, 40-page storybook, 2 parents album coffee book, prenuptial shoot w/ concept and location shoot (3 set-ups), 10x8 coffee book style guestbook,  20x24 blow up photo canvass in special frame, on-site photo slideshow, on-site video editing, Studio on Wheels photo booth (view here)... and more…

Our Ceremony and Entourage Florist, Forget me Knot. Neo and I didn’t want to spend too much on the flowers since the venue is beautiful on its own. Ceremony flowers were all white and low arrangements (no pillars, lamps or tulle swags). Entourage flowers, Ate Janet worked very hard to provide us a package certainly within our reach. We saved a lot of pesos with her help! (Take note: we had a big entourage!)

St Francis of Assiss Chapel, Fernwood Gardens

Where would we be without our venue – Chapel and Reception? The Fernwood Gardens in Quezon City, we were astounded by its beauty. This is my dream chapel, small as possible but packed with people we love and love us. (I preferred to see people's reactions right after the door opened). There are ferns and other garden plants everywhere, adding magical feeling to the place.

Note: Fernwood has accredited caterers and florist. But it's worth it! (Thank you to Barry and Ivy Corpuz for the special discounts and sponsorship)

The Harmonya: The String Ensemble of UPLB, as our wedding choir and for serenading us during reception. For my nieces: Nica and Alyana for singing our favorites songs. For my nephews: Daniel and Alvin for sharing their time and talents as their wedding gifts to us. (sayang I don’t have the video)

Thank you to Juan Carlo Catering for keeping our guests well-fed. Food and drinks are often remembered by the guests so it is pertinent that the menu be well-thought of and tasted before ordering them, we had 2 food tastings! They look expensive (since most celebrity weddings get their service) but thank God that they had a special promo with lots of freebies (bridal car, styling, cake, backdrop, centrepieces, 2 additional pasta, 3 additional desserts, choco fountain, etc) when we did our inquiry! We wanted a reputable caterer that would not disappoint since most of our savings was allocated to the reception =)

For Chris Tevar, our liturgical commentator and reception emcee. Thank you for the sharing with us your God-given talents.

Our wedding was a busy day filled with people we love and adore. Thank you for being an important part of this day!

Thank you Mama and Neo’s siblings. Thank you for raising him to be the person he is today and supporting us throughout our courtship, engagement and married life.

We couldn’t have done it without the help of my parents, Tatay and Nanay. For everything you are to us. For the unconditional love!

Thank you to all our Godparents for standing as our principal witnesses, for guiding us in our married life and in our faith and for teaching us to love like Joseph and Mary.
Complete list of Ninong and Ninang here.

We were honored to have our Godparents, Ninong Noli and Ninang Sam Manuel giving their wedding messages and leading the whole crowd to pray over us…
Our groomsmen who look so awesome that day! It was great having you by Neo’s side and you were a huge help in keeping him calm before the ceremony.

Our bridesmaids were with us every step of the way throughout the wedding planning process, and we loved having them stand by our sides on our wedding day.

Jeanette, our Matron of Honor (my best friend) and JR, Neo's household member

To our Little Ones, we love you! Because of your parents’ love to us, they said yes for you to be part of our entourage. You are all cute and lovable.

Sleepy head, Jebel (Neo's nephew)

The Hunk, Neil (my nephew)

Mommy Michelle and super cute Agatha (THANK YOU!)

This is what you call - being a WOMAN. My niece, Angela.

Thank you to all of our guests for celebrating with us, understanding us in many ways, for saying yes to wear Barong (especially for the first timers!), for spending their day with us despite and in spite of, for praying with us, for loving us and being in our lives.

Thank you very much for spending some of your precious time with us. Your presence just added an extra joy and beautiful moments to our wedding day.

Thank you you also to those people who weren't able to join us but helped and supported us, paved the way for us and prayed with and for us. Maraming salamat po.
